Principal’s Words

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Box Hill (HK) International Kindergarten and Pre-school.

My name is Brandy Wo, I am the principal of Box Hill – Tseung Kwan O campus. In July 2021, we were excited to relocate from Metro Town to Mount Verdant into a larger and more open premise.

I am so grateful to have been a part of the Box Hill family for more than 10 years! The greatest part is that I am not only the principal of the school, but also a mother of two Box Hill alumni.

It has been surely an amazing educational journey for my two children in Box Hill. They had a memorable and happy kindergarten life in Box Hill. They have developed excellent language skills in both English and Chinese as we have Native English Teachers in each class to enrich the English learning environment as well as highly qualified Chinese language teachers. We provide a high standard of Chinese curriculum for our students to develop their interest and abilities in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Thus, our graduates can study in international primary schools and local stream schools after they graduate from Box Hill. We are proud to give the option of different pathways to our families for future learning.

Students in Box Hill are educated with new knowledge every day, but they are also nurtured into becoming creative thinkers, life-long learners and compassionate individuals. Therefore, we always emphasize providing a happy and stimulating learning environment for our students to explore and have fun. A lot of creative and hands-on activities will be integrated into the EYFS seven learning areas to match with the themes. As it is very important for our teachers, parents, and children to work closely together to achieve our goals, we have planned different school activities for parents to participate as parent volunteers throughout the year. I hope you will be one of them in the near future. I am confident that you and your child will enjoy your time and activities with us at Box Hill!
